Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Set majestically at the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains flanking Lakes Edward and George. From open Savannah to rainforest to the dense papyrus swamps and brooding crater. It is little wonder that that Queen Elizabeth National Park boasts of highest biodiversity ratings of any Game Park in the world. Almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species make the park a superb safari territory with elephants and a profusion of hippos. Elsewhere in the park is the remote Ishasha sector which is famous for its tree climbing lions, the Kyambura Gorge harbours habituated chimps and flocks of flamingo are resident of the crater lakes.
The most popular activities in the park include, Launch trips on the Kazinga channel, Game drives, walks, chimps tracking in the Kyambura Gorge.
