Lake Mburo National Park.
The closest savannah reserve to the Uganda’s capital city Kampala, Lake Mburo National Park is centered on a series of swamp- fringed lakes known for their rich bird life, while the fringing acacia woodland harbours dense populations of zebra, warthog, buffalo, impala and eland(the largest of African antelope). The parks’ lakes support crocodiles and hippos which can be seen grazing on cool morning and the surrouding papyrus swamps hide the beautiful Sitatunga, a specialist antelope with narrow elongated hooves which allow them to move freely.
